Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has shared his thoughts on what Arsenal needs to win the Premier League.
Aina, who plays for Nottingham Forest, faced Arsenal earlier this season in a match where his team lost 3-0. Despite Arsenal’s strong performance, the former Torino player believes the North London club is missing something important to become champions.

Speaking on the Filthy Fellas podcast, Aina praised Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka but pointed out a weakness in the team’s title ambitions. According to him, Arsenal needs better squad depth to win the Premier League.
“To win the league, you need quality players on the bench as well as on the pitch,” Aina said.
Arsenal has been close to winning the title in recent seasons but finished second behind Manchester City on both occasions. This season, Arsenal is currently third in the league, trailing leaders Liverpool and second-placed Chelsea.
The Gunners’ chances of staying competitive will be tested further as star player Bukayo Saka is injured and won’t return until early 2025. Aina’s comments about squad depth could prove accurate if Arsenal struggles without their key player.
