The Club Brugge KV midfielder who scored Senegal’s second goal in their 2-0 opening game win against Uganda has revealed his frustration at the development.
” I am very sad to see some African brothers making fun of me, said Diatta.
“I work for our beautiful and dear African continent and what I receive in return are only insults, mockery from my brothers. This is too bad of you and racism comes from there.”
The 20-year-old midfielder begged for fans and football lovers to support him and not bring him down while expressing his gratitude to those who stood by him.
