‘Your mockery won’t change anything’, Krepin Diatta reacts to criticism from Africans

Krepin Diatta has promised to fight through the ‘body shaming’ he has received from all quarters a day most especially from his African brothers.

The Club Brugge KV midfielder who scored Senegal’s second goal in their 2-0 opening game win against Uganda has revealed his frustration at the development.

” I am very sad to see some African brothers making fun of me, said Diatta.

“I work for our beautiful and dear African continent and what I receive in return are only insults, mockery from my brothers. This is too bad of you and racism comes from there.”

The 20-year-old midfielder begged for fans and football lovers to support him and not bring him down while expressing his gratitude to those who stood by him.

‘I need your encouragement and not your insults. Thank you to everyone who supports me. Only God makes my strength and I am proud of my physical person.
