The 2017 NBA Draft: Check out who picked the five players of Nigerian descent

The 2017 NBA draft has been conducted and as we reported earlier this week, 5 players of Nigerian descent were in the mix.

Bam Adebayo and OG Anunoby were the only players of Nigerian descent that were selected in the first round while the likes of Wesley Iwundu, Jesusemilore Ojeleye and Ike Anigbogu were picked in the second round.

The Miami Heat selected Center Bam Adebayo with the 14th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, while OG Anunoby went to the Toronto Raptors.

14. Heat: Bam Adebayo (C) – Kentucky

23. Raptors: OG Anunoby (F) – Indiana

33. Magic: Wesley Iwundu (SF) – Kansas State

37. Celtics: Semi Ojeleye (SF) – SMU

47. Pacers: Ike Anigbogu (C) – UCLA
