2018 AFCON Beach Soccer: Nigeria drawn alongside Senegal in group B
Nigeria’s men national beach soccer team have been drawn in group B alongside african champions, Senegal at the 2018 AFCON Beach Soccer scheduled for 9-14 in Egypt.
Two-time champions, Nigeria will be hoping they get one place better than they did in 2016 where they lost 8-4 to Senegal in Lagos.
4-time and defending champions, Senegal, Libya and Tanzania are the other countries in Nigeria’s group.
While in group A, the hosts, Egypt, Morocco, Cote d’Ivoire and
Madagascar will fight it out.
The event also acts as the qualification route for African teams to the 2019 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Paraguay; the winners and runners-up qualify.
