Renaissance Sportive De Berkane of Morroco spanked TP Mazembe 4-1 in the second leg of their 2022 CAF Confederation Cup semi final clash to book a place in the final vs Orlando Pirates on Friday 20, May 2022 in Uyo Nigeria.

The Morrocan Championship Botola side began this year’s competition with an away victory over Tunisian side Ben Guerdane before returning to spank  Guerdane 4-0 in front the 10,000 capacity Stade Municipal De Berkane, Morroco.

The final qualification round pitched Berkane against Rwandan side APR Fc. A goalless first leg was capped with a 2-1 win in the second leg as Berkane qualified for the group stages of the competition.

In the Group stage, RS Berkane came up against Ivorian club Asec Mimosas , US Gendarmerie of Niger Republic and Simba of Tanzania .
