2022 NBA Playoffs: Denver Nuggets force Game 5 following win over Warriors
Pelicans level series as Bucks take 3-1 lead over Bulls
Nikola Jokic was impressive for the Denver Nuggets as he delivered a brilliant performance in their 126-121 win over the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of the 2022 NBA Playoffs to give the Denver Nuggets their first win of the series.
Jokic led the scoring for the Denver Nuggets with 37 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the game, giving him his eighth career playoff game with 35+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists, more than every player combined in the Nuggets’ history as a franchise.
The Splash Bros were on song for the Golden State Warriors like the good old days, with Steph Curry recording 33 points and Klay Thompson scoring 32 points, but it was not enough for the Warriors to defeat the Denver Nuggets. Both sides will square off again in Game 5 of the series.
Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered another vintage performance to give the Milwaukee Bucks a 119-95 win over the Chicago Bulls and move them 3-1 up after four games in the series. The Greek Freak scored 32 points and 17 rebounds, and Grayson Allen added 27 points for the Bucks, who remain without Khris Middleton.
Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan scored a combined 47 points for the Bulls, who must win Game 5 to have any hope of progressing to the next round.
The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Phoenix Suns 118-105 to level their series at 2-2 and put the Suns under pressure.
Still without the injured Devin Booker, the Phoenix Suns have struggled to get going in his absence, and the Pelicans took full advantage of that in their meeting. Brandon Ingram led the scoring with 30 points as Jonas Valanciunas scored 26 points and 15 rebounds.
Miami Heat moved one step closer to the second round of the 2022 NBA Playoffs after a 110-86 win over the Atlanta Hawks put them 3-1 up in the series.
Jimmy Butler led the scoring for the Heat with 36 points and 10 rebounds, while PJ Tucker and Bam Adebayo scored 14 points apiece. Gabe Vincent scored 11 points for the Heat in their win.
