THE RESULTS

Edel FC were stunned at home 0-1 by accident-struck Madiba FC. The visitors were involved in an auto-crash on their way to Anambra for the game but remained unshaken to take maximum points back to Lagos.

Abia Comets FC recovered from their opening day bashing in Ado-Ekiti to defeat Beyond Limits 2-0 at the Umuahia Township Stadium and take their first-win of the season.

In Enugu, Nigeria National League new-boys Coal City FC secured their first-ever win in the league when they defeated Ekiti United FC 2-1. Whereas the hosts fell on matchday one vs Vandrezzer FC in Uyo, Ekiti United had banked on the confidence from a 3-0 opening game win but it counted for nothing in the east.

Abeoukuta Stormers Sports Club continued their domineering form over Vandrezzer FC in a 2-0 win. Stormers came close to securing promotion to the topflight last season and look even more determined for another shot this season.

Lagos-boys 1472 FC gunned down Rovers FC of Calabar 2-1 in a keenly contested game. That was the first-ever home game for the Tingo funded outfit and they marked it with maximum points to consolidate on the away points earned on matchday one in Uyo.

A smart 2nd minute free-kick was enough to see Smart City past Dakkada FC 1-0 on Sunday in Lagos. Former NPFL side Dakkada FC have not had a smooth start to the season after having to share points on matchday one before bowing to defeat in week two.

The cheers from their fans could not save new NNL side International Lagos FC from a 1-2 home defeat to  Crown FC in the Southern Conference group B. The south-west defeat was keenly contested and won by the visitors who wear the top-spot crown in group B after two wins in two matches.

There was no safe-spot for Seyi Ajayi tutored Tradesafe FC as they lost 0-1 to Osun United FC in the Nigeria National League week two fixture.

At the Eket Stadium on Sunday, November 26, FC ONE Rocket recorded their first win of the season, a 1-0 defeat of Giant Brillars FC who will rue a missed spot-kick that could possibly have changed the outcome in their first-ever meeting vs the Rockets who are eyeing another shot at promotion having reached the playoff last season.

Warri Wolves FC has perfect answers to the challenges posed by Solution FC and so too maximum points with a 2-0 win at hpme.

In the Northern conference, EFCC FC were held to a 0-0 by Nasarawa United FC who are eyeing a quick-return to the NPFL following their relegation last season. The Solid Miners defeated Zamfara United FC 1-0 on matchday one and maintained course vs EFCC in Abuja with an away point.

Mighty Jets of Jos could not find a way past Wikki Tourists FC as it finished 0-0. Tourists have made a great start to their season in the second tier, spanking EFCC 5-0 on matchday one and taking a point on the road as they tango with Nasarawa United FC for a return to the Premier league.

El-Kanemi Warriors were 2-0 victors of Yobe Desert Stars in week two. The home team dominated this encounter and sure deserved maximum points .

Zamfara United picked their first points of the season with 2-1 win over NAF FC. The Airforce boys gave a good account of themselves against United who did just enough to take maximum points in the Nigeria National League week two fixture.

A perfect start to the seaon this has been for Sporting Supreme FC who secured their second win of the campaign with a 3-1 win over Jigawa Golden Stars. A flying start to to share top-spot with Sokoto United FC.

Sokoto United were home for a second straight game and made no mistake in taking maximum points in a 2-0 defeat of Adamawa United FC. Two wins from two games it is for Sokoto United FC.

The Abuja-derby at the old parade ground ended in favour of City FC, 2-1 victors of Mailantarki Care. Both teams were at the losing end on matchday one, but City FC have now left Mailantarki behind with their first win of the season.
