Doma United Vs Bayelsa United : After a comeback 5-3 win over Akwa United FC at the Samson Siasia Stadium on matchday one, Bayelsa United FC visit Gombe to face Doma United FC who lost their opening of the season.

Expect a very tight game.

Prediction: 0-0

Kano Pillars Vs Katsina United : Following their promotion back to the Nigeria Premier Football League, Kano Pillars FC and Katsina United FC will renew their keen rivalry at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.

There will be fireworks from both teams on and off the field of play but Abdul Maikaba tutored Pillars FC would press to get their first points of the campaign.

Prediction: 2-1

Bendel Insurance Vs Shooting Stars; Bendel Insurance FC will be playing their first game of the 2023/2024 NPFL season vs Shooting Stars of Ibadan this weekend.

The Benin Arsenal had their opening week clash vs Enyimba FC rescheduled due to their CAF Confederation Cup engagement last week.

Following their elimination from the continent, Coach Monday Odigie will rally his charges to get the best possible start to the domestic season in front of their fans at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin on Saturday, October 7.

SUNDAY 08/10/2023 

Plateau United Vs Heartland: Plateau United FC lost their opening game of the season while Heartland FC were held at home by Lobi Stars FC. One of three games that could go either ways this weekend.

Prediction: 0-1

LOBI STARS VS SUNSHINE STARS: Two teams that participated in last season’s Super Six playoffs, Lobi Stars FC will still be feeling the pain from allowing Heartland FC come from 0-2 down for draw 2-2 on matchday one and so will press hard for a win.

A game of stars that should shine more for the home side.

Prediction: 2-0

Niger Tornadoes Vs Rivers United FC; Niger Tornadoes have a difficult challenge in a well motivated Rivers United FC team this weekend.

A tricky tie to predict.

Prediction: 1-1

Akwa United Vs Sporting Lagos: Two teams in different modes and shape following results from matchday one.

Whereas, Akwa United FC stumbled in Yenegoa to lose 5-3, Sporting Lagos defeated Gombe United FC for their first ever NPFL.

Sporting Lagos will arrive Uyo with pretty good knowledge of the Promise Keepers, with the  prescence of former Akwa United FC assistant coach, Edward Green who left to join Sporting, few weeks ago.

Prediction: 3-1

Kwara United Vs Abia Warriors; Kwara United FC had a great Pre-season and so will target maximum points this weekend to avoid painic.

Prediction: 1-0

Gombe United Vs Enyimba: Enyimba FC will begin their title defence vs Gombe United FC in Pantami.

The third game that could go in favour of the away team, this weekend.

Prediction: 0-1

Remo Stars Vs Enugu Rangers; Enugu Rangers International FC visit the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne on Sunday evening hoping to consolidate on their opening day win but against a Remo Stars team that come out to fight for maximum points, a tough game.

Prediction: 2-1
