2023 US Open Semifinals: Gauff, Sabalenka set for final meeting

Sixth seed Coco Gauff picked up her first ticket to the US Open final after a convincing straight sets win over 10th seed Karolina Muchova. The 19-year-old American claimed a 6-4 7-5 win to advance to the final at Flushing Meadows, her second Grand Slam final ever.

World number two Aryna Sabalenka proved her mettle as she came back from the brink to defeat 17th seed Madison Keys in their 2023 US Open semifinal. The Belarusian star came back from a a 0-6 3-5 deficit to win the match in three sets 0-6 7-6 7-6 and reach the final of the tournament in battling fashion. She will face home favourite Coco Gauff for the title in Saturday’s final.
