2024 NLO Youth League kickoff date announced
The second tier of Nationwide League football in Nigeria is the NLO Youth League, which was lauched and debuted in the 2022/2023 season.
In a significant development, the 2024 Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) Youth League has officially received a kick-off date.
The league, which is designed for players under 19 years of age, will commence on July 13th, 2024. This announcement follows the successful maiden edition held last year across various venues in the country.
The NLO board disclosed the details on their official website. Registration for participating teams will begin on June 15th, with the draw scheduled for June 17th.
Nearly 188 teams are expected to compete in this year’s edition, highlighting the growing interest and participation in youth football across Nigeria.
This league aims to provide a platform for young talents to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience, contributing to the development of football at the grassroots level in the country.
