2026 WCQ: Omeruo, Collins, Umar, arrive Super Eagles Camp in Uyo for Lesotho clash
Defenders Kenneth Omeruo, Jamiu Collins and striker Sadiq Umar have arrived the Super Eagles camp in Uyo ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.
Defenders Kenneth Omeruo from Kasimpasa in Turkey, Jamilu Collins of Cardiff FC in Wales and striker Sadiq Umar from Real Sociedad of Spain arrived the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo by 11am on Monday, November 13, 2023.
The three players were received by the Secretary of the Akwa Ibom State Football Normalization Committee, Sir John Etim on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Five other players are expected to hit camp today and with fifteen others expected tomorrow as preparation for the clash on Thursday begins.
Coach Jose Peseiro invited 23 players for this month’s World Cup qualifying fixtures against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
