Ndidi Onyiye on target but five-goal Adruitz steals the Show

Former Nigeria U-20 player, Wilfred Ndidi Oyinye was on target for his Belgian club in Thursday’s Europa League but Athletic Club’s 35-year-old Aritz Aduriz Zubeldia stole the show with his five goals.

The Nigerian who scored the winning goal for his club in the reverse fixture two weeks ago could only help his club reduce the deficit when he scored his clubs’ second goal in the 51st minute of the encounter to make the scoreline 3-2.

Oyinye’s goal couldn’t help his club as Aduriz added two more goals to his first half hattrick. Oyinye is a regular player for his club having started all their games this season.

Aritz Aduriz became the first player since 1994 to score five times in a Europa League match as he netted all of Athletic Bilbao’s goals in a thrilling 5-3 victory over Genk.
