Jesus replaces Iheanacho in Manchester City´s Champions League squad

Gabriel Jesus who became the Manchester City player to score and assist a goal in his first Premier League start in their 4-0 victory over Westham yesterday has replaced Kelechi Iheanacho in Manchester City Champions League knockout stages squad.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola replace the Nigerian striker with the in-form Brazilian striker as he updates his squad list for the knockout stages of Uefa Champions League.

Kelechi Iheanacho is yet to play a single game since the arrival of the Brazil international striker having failed to make the bench on three different occasions since his arrival.

Although Kelechi Ihenacho remains eligible for selection as he meets the requirements to be named on UEFA’s ‘List B’, but it will difficult for him to get into the team considering he has Jesus, Aguero and Nolito ahead of him.
