NBA Round Up: Booker joins 70 club, Warriors win again as Harden stars for Rockets

Devin Booker joins the exclusive list of 70 points in a game in Suns 130-120 defeat at the hands of Celtic, LeBron James and James Harden led the Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets respectively to NBA wins, while the Golden State Warriors extended their run.

The Cavs returned to winning ways with a 112-105 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Friday.

Harden’s Rockets stretched their streak of victories to three, beating the New Orleans Pelicans 117-107.

The Warriors were also comfortable, making it six straight wins by overcoming the Sacramento Kings 114-100.

THE LEBRON SHOW

James fell just short of a triple-double for the Cavs, recording 32 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds.

Kyrie Irving chipped in with 26 points, while Kevin Love had a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Kemba Walker led the Hornets with 28 points.

RED-HOT HARDEN

Harden continued his impressive season with 38 points, 17 assists and seven rebounds for the Rockets.

It meant Anthony Davis’ 33 points and 16 rebounds and DeMarcus Cousins’ 29 points were in vain for the Pelicans.

WARRIORS WINNING

The Warriors are putting together a streak.

Stephen Curry had a double-double of 27 points and 12 assists against the Kings, while Draymond Green posted 23 points.

The win is a sixth straight for the Warriors, who have meetings with the Rockets and San Antonio Spurs to come after facing the Memphis Grizzlies.

BRILLIANT BOOKER

Devin Booker had an incredible 70 points – just the sixth player in NBA history to achieve the feat – but his Phoenix Suns still went down to the Boston Celtics 130-120.
