Arsenal will not allow Alexis Sanchez to join these two Premier League clubs or leave on a free

Arsenal will do everything in their power to ensure Alexis Sanchez does not join Premier League rivals, according to reports.

Arsene Wenger fears Sanchez has already decided to leave and the Gunners will push the attacker towards Ligue 1 should he insist on a transfer.

Arsenal have not given up hope that they can convince Sanchez to stay, but are aware that their star man wants more than just the £300,000-a-week contract he has asked for.

Sanchez is desperate to get backing to winning silverware and has become disillusioned with Arsenal’s ambition.

Chelsea and City have been heavily linked with a move, but Arsenal are determined to block any move to a rival club.

Arsenal will push Sanchez towards joining Paris Saint-Germain and are willing to do a £50 million deal with the French side, the Sun claim.

Pep Guardiola is keen to make Sanchez the vocal point of his new-look side with reports in Chile suggesting the Sky Blues have a real chance of signing the goalscorer.

But it is also reported that the chance to remain in London would be a major attraction for Sanchez as Antonio Conte begins to plan for life after Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.

Chelsea may have to replace their star forwards with Real Madrid preparing a world-record bid for Hazard and Costa dropping several hints he wants to leave England.

Arsenal will not allow Sanchez to leave on a free next summer when 28-year-old’s current deal runs out.

Sanchez would be an excellent addition to any side with the Chilean scoring 23 goals in all competitions and leading the scoring and assist charts at Arsenal.
