Arsene Wenger orders Arsenal board to sign ex- Chelsea star

Arsenal has submitted a €25 million (£22m) offer for Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado, according to reports in Colombia.

It has been reported by RCN Radio that the bid to bring the Juventus winger back to London was personally spearheaded by Arsene Wenger, who has requested that the 29-year-old is signed this summer.

It’s also claimed that talks between the two clubs are ongoing, although Cuadrado has publicly said that he is happy to stay at Juventus.

Juventus is open to selling the Colombia international but had set a €25 million (£22m) price for the winger, Juventus permanently signed Cuadrado for £17m in May from Chelsea, but the Serie A champions now have the option to sell the winger for a profit with Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, and Arsenal all craving for his services.

Wenger is keen to add a winger to his squad this summer and reports ate claiming that Monaco Thomas Lemar is Wenger priority with Riyad Mahrez of Leicester City and Cuadrado alternatives to his main target.

Wenger is also close to signing Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon in a £52m deal. The striker completed is medical on Tuesday and the deal in expected to be finalized within the next 48 hours.
