Joel Obi on target as Torino score 4 goals in 28 minutes

Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi was on target as Torino produced a perfect display in the second half to beat Cagliari 4-0 at the Sardegna Arena on Saturday.

After back-to-back games for Nigeria against Poland and Serbia in the International friendlies played on Friday and Tuesday, Joel Obi was dropped to the bench for clash against Cagliari.

The first half failed to produce any spark as it ended goalless at the end of the first 45 minutes of action.

It was a case of reserving the best for the last as Torino scored their first through Iago Falqué in the 61st minute after a beautiful play from Andrea Belotti. Adem Ljajić also pounced on Iago Falque ball to make it two, four minutes after the visitors scored their first goal.

Two became three when Christian Ansaldi scored in the 79th minutes of the game, there was still room for Joel Obi who was subbed on in the 77th minutes to make it four for the visitor as he scored his 6th goal of the season in the 89th minutes to complete a remarkable four goals in the space of 28 minutes for the visitors.
