Moses fires Fener past Awaziem, Okechukwu & Umar’s Rizespor

Victor Moses scored the winner to help Fenerbahce secure a 3-2 win against Rizespor in their Turkish top flight game at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on Saturday.

Locked in relegation zone, anything short a win would be a dangerous result for Fenerbahce and Victor Moses ensured the maximum points are secured on the day.

The visitors through Dario Melnjak raced into the lead in the 4th minute of the game but Fenerbahce countered with 2 goals innthe 22nd and 40th minutes through Serdar Aziz and Roberto Soldado respectively.

It became worse for Rizespor when Mykola Morozyuk was sent off in the 42nd minute for his second bookable offence to reduce the visitors to 10.

The numerical disadvantage didn’t stop Rizespor from scoring again as they equalized in the 55th minute through Dario Melnjak who was scoring his second of the day.

The visitors defended in number in other to secure a valuable away point but Victor Moses happened in 84th minute of the game.

The retired Super Eagles attacker scored from the 12 yards to condemn Rizespor to a 3-2 away loss after a spirited fight.

Victor Moses was subbed off in the 90th minute for Eljif Elmas while Chidozie Awaziem was also onnthe entire game for Rizespor, Aminu Umar was subbed off in the 73rd minute for Braian Samudio while Azubuike Okechukwu was taken off for Musa Cagiran in the 85th minute.
