Butler stars again as Bulls make it fifth straight win, Williams leads Mavs

Deron Williams’ buzzer-beater saw the Dallas Mavericks edge the Sacramento Kings 117-116 after double-overtime in the NBA on Tuesday.

Williams made his shot with 0.3 seconds remaining as he finished with a team-high 25 points for the 20-15 Mavs.

Dirk Nowitzki (23 points) and Wesley Matthews (20) were also key contributors at American Airlines Center.

DeMarcus Cousins had a double-double of 35 points and 17 rebounds for the Kings.

The Chicago Bulls claimed their fifth straight win by overcoming the Milwaukee Bucks 117-106 at United Center.

Jimmy Butler starred with 32 points and 10 assists, while Pau Gasol (26 points and 11 rebounds) and Taj Gibson (11 points and 14 rebounds) were also vital.

Klay Thompson led the way for the Golden State Warriors as they eased past the Los Angeles Lakers 109-88.

Thompson had 36 points, while Steph Curry finished with 17.

Carmelo Anthony and Arron Afflalo combined for 46 points in the New York Knicks’ surprise 107-101 win over the Atlanta Hawks.
