Raptors break franchise record, Lakers losing streak continues

The Toronto Raptors rolled to a franchise record 10th consecutive NBA victory after a 103-93 win over the New York Knicks on Thursday.

Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan scored 26 points each for the Raptors, with 10 and four assists respectively, while Jonas Valanciunas added 11 points and 18 rebounds in the record-breaking win.

The triumph meant the Raptors surpassed their nine straight victories between March 22 and April 9, 2002.

Arron Afflalo top-scored for the undermanned Knicks with 20 points, the loss meaning they have now suffered four consecutive defeats.

The Los Angeles Lakers were no match for the Chicago Bulls, going down 114-91 at the Staples Centre.

Jimmy Butler was in fine form for the Bulls, contributing with 26 points, 10 assists and five rebounds.

The Lakers have now suffered nine defeats in a row, while the Bulls have won just four out of their past 11 fixtures.

Monta Ellis led the scoring for the Pacers with 25, while rookie Myles Turner added 20 points and six rebounds.

The Memphis Grizzlies produced a clinical performance to secure a 103-83 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Jeff Green scored 21 points, while Marc Gasol added 15 points and eight rebounds as the Grizzlies outscored the Bucks 53-42 in the second half to seal the win.
