Kylian Mbappe excited about joining new club
France international Kylian Mbappe has shared his excitement about moving to a new club, though the specific club has yet to be announced.
The 25-year-old forward had an emotional farewell from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, marking the end of his seven-year stint with the club. As he prepares for his next chapter, Mbappe couldn’t hide his enthusiasm.
Although reports suggest Mbappe is likely headed to Real Madrid, he has kept his future plans under wraps, refusing to confirm his next destination. However, in a recent interview with CNN, Mbappe expressed his eagerness to join his new team, win trophies, and meet his new teammates.
“I will leave my country for the first time,” Mbappe said. “It’s going to be an amazing experience and I can’t wait to be at my new club. I want to win trophies… when you speak about football, it’s about winning trophies and being with new teammates.”
He added, “For now, I have my contract with PSG. Everybody knows that it’s soon finishing and we’re going to see what happens.”
Mbappe’s immediate focus is on the European Championships in Germany, where he will captain the French national team and aim to win the tournament for the first time in three attempts.
