Ladan Bosso is new United head coach
Flying Eagles of Nigeria handler, Ladan Bosso has been appointed head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League club Bayelsa United. SportsRation reports.
Bosso’s appointment was made public on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, followed by the unveiling ceremony at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenegoa.
Bayelsa United have moved quickly to engage the services of Bosso in their quest to avoid another keen relegation battle, after needing a final-day win over Bendel Insurance to retain top-flight status last season.
Experienced Ladan Bosso will be returning to a familiar terrain after a previous stint with United which produced continental football for the oil-rich state.
Meanwhile, there are unconfirmed reports Ladan Bosso will not retain his position as Nigeria U-20 national team head coach.
According to multiple sources, Bosso will move up to the Nigeria U-23 team while a new coach will be sought for the Flying Eagles agead of their WAFU Championship participation later this year.
