The Mediterranean Knights of Libya are also in the group, making it a competitive set of fixtures for Nigeria. The top two teams from the group will secure their spots in the Africa Cup of Nations, which is set to take place in Morocco in 2025.
The qualification campaign will run from September through November 2024, with the Super Eagles looking to make a strong start despite the current absence of a substantive head coach.
