NPFL: Remo Stars away victory over Kano Pillars to go top after matchday three

Remo Stars continued their impressive form in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season by securing a 2-0 victory over former champions Kano Pillars.

The match, held at the Muhammed Dikko Stadium in Katsina, on Sunday, September 22, 2024, delivered an exciting spectacle for the fans.

Sodiq Ismail, the Super Eagles defender, opened the scoring for Remo Stars in the 26th minute with a powerful volley, marking his second goal of the season.

Franck Mawuena sealed the win in the 60th minute, doubling the lead and earning Remo Stars their second away victory of the season.
