Oyo FA bans fan Olalekan Ojo from watching Shooting Stars matches following misconduct
The Oyo State Football Association has banned Olalekan Ojo from attending Shooting Stars’ home matches due to poor conduct and breaking the law.
The announcement was made in a press release by the Oyo FA on Sunday. The association’s secretary, Kehinde Ojelowo, confirmed that the ban extends to all stadiums in Oyo State.
The notification stated: “Following your unsporting behaviour after the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 13 game between Shooting Stars (3SC), Ibadan, and Bayelsa United on Sunday, 24th November 2025, which almost brought football into disrepute, you have been suspended indefinitely.”
The letter also warned Ojo to comply with the ban or risk arrest by law enforcement agents.
The match ended in a 1-0 victory for Shooting Stars, with Anthony Okachi’s goal securing all three points for the Ibadan-based team.
