Alexander Zverev Eases Into Round 2 at US Open

Germany’s Alexander Zverev wasted no time stamping his authority at the 2025 US Open. Facing Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo in the opening round, the No. 3 seed delivered a composed performance to advance 6–2, 7–6(4), 6–4.

Zverev controlled the match from the baseline, firing aces at key moments and keeping Tabilo under pressure.
