Tyson Fury begins new Chapter with Family
Tyson Fury has quietly started a new phase of life after relocating with his family to the Isle of Man following recent financial and policy changes in the UK.
The 37-year-old boxing star is now understood to be living in an £8 million home near Douglas with his wife Paris and their seven children, ending a 17-year stay in Morecambe, Lancashire. The move places the family in a self-governing Crown Dependency known for lower personal taxation and the absence of inheritance tax.
Companies House records dated December 1 show that Fury has officially changed his country of residence, with Paris Fury also updating her business details. The relocation follows the introduction of new measures in Chancellor Rachel Reeves’ recent budget, including a levy on properties valued over £2 million, a threshold the family’s former home exceeded.
Fury has not spoken publicly about the move, but a source told The Sun:
“Tyson has been telling pals that he has moved to the island. He is very fond of the Isle of Man and has been telling residents that he is looking forward to making it his home. The couple have also been checking out schools in the area for their youngest kids.”
The former world heavyweight champion has already been spotted around the island. One traveller shared on Facebook:
“I had the privilege of meeting and chatting with this amazing guy and his family on the Manxman this morning.”
Fury was also seen last week at Terry’s Tatos in Douglas, where director Rachel Marsland recalled a brief exchange with the family:
“I turned around and saw Paris Fury walk through the door, and I recognised her instantly then I turned and saw Tyson ducking in the door. He was like: ‘Have you got enough spuds for us?’ I said: ‘How many of you are there?’
He said: ‘Nine of us.’ At that point I was shutting in 15 minutes so there were nine potatoes left in the oven. He was like: ‘Brilliant there are nine of us so we will buy the lot.’”
Financial records show Fury remains one of Britain’s wealthiest athletes. In June, it emerged that Tyson Fury Ltd held £162 million in cash and investments, an increase of £82 million since 2023, despite Fury paying himself just £100,000.
For now, the move appears focused on family life and long-term stability, as Fury settles into a new home away from the mainland spotlight.
