76ers complete 3-1 comeback to eliminate Celtics in Game 7
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Boston Celtics 109-100 in Game 7 to win the series 4-3, completing a comeback from 3-1 down.
Joel Embiid led Philadelphia with 34 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists in a controlled performance on the road.
The Sixers took charge early, winning the first and third quarters and maintaining their lead through the second half. Boston was unable to recover after falling behind, despite 33 points from Jaylen Brown.
Philadelphia becomes the 14th team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 deficit in a playoff series. They are also the first No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference to eliminate a No. 2 seed in a best-of-seven first-round series since 2003.
The Boston Celtics, who led the series 3-1, exit after losing three straight games.
