Paris Saint-Germain have officially completed the signing of Lucas Digne from Aston Villa for a reported €7 million fee.
The French left-back has signed a contract with PSG until June 2029, returning to the club 11 years after his first time in Paris.
Digne previously played for PSG between 2013 and 2015, making 44 appearances and winning several domestic trophies.
Since leaving Paris, he has played for Roma, Barcelon, Everton and Aston Villa, gaining valuable experience across Europe’s top leagues.
His return gives PSG an experienced option at left-back as the club prepares for another season competing on multiple fronts.
Digne has reacted to his return to PSG. Digne said he is “really proud and very happy” to return to PSG. He described the move as an incredible opportunity and also said he is excited about the club’s ambitions. We wish him the best of luck in PSG.
