Kelechi Nwakali joins Dutch club from Arsenal

Arsenal have sent Nigerian midfield prodigy Kelechi Nwakali on loan to a Dutch second division side MVV Maastricht.

The Nigerian who joined the London based club officially this summer from Diamond Football Academy on a five-year will spend the rest of this season, on loan at Dutch second division side, MVV Maastricht.

Coach of MVV Maastricht, Ron Elsen, has said he hopes Nwakali comes through this phase of his career.

The attacking midfielder was voted the MVP of last year’s FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile, which Nigeria won.
