Alex Iwobi was on target but couldn’t save Arsenal as they go down to Rennes in France while Samuel Chukwueze returned into Villarreal’s starting lineup like a boss.

The Super Eagles attacker scored his fifth goal of the season. Alex Iwobi turned two defenders in and out on the edge of the box before placing the ball into the far corner with a great technique for Arsenal only goal of the game.
The goal is Alex Iwobi fifth for Arsenal in all competitions this season – his best return in a single campaign for the Gunners.
Unfortunately for Iwobi, Arsenal were reduced to 10 after Sokratis was giving his marching orders. With a man up, Rennes tore Arsenal apart to secured a 3-1 win at Roazhon Park on Thursday.
Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal)
Samuel Chukwueze walked back into Villarreal’s first tema to help the Yellow Submarines beat Zenit St. Petersburg 3-1 at the Gazprom Arena on Thursday.
It was a convincing away win for Villarreal against Zenit who had been unbeaten until the visit of the 18th placed club in the La Liga table.
Samuel Chukwueze was on the pitch for the entire duration of the game tormenting Zenit defenders with his skills.
