Aminu leads Blazers into Western Conference semis after (4-1) series win against Thunder

Damian Lillard sent the 20,241 sellout crowd at the Moda Center into frenzy after nailing the game winner in Portland Trailblazers 118-115 game five win against Oklahoma City Thunder.

Dame dropped postseason franchise-high 50 points in the game to complete a 4-1 first round series win against Thunder.

But as usual, D’Tigers forward Al-Farouq Aminu was the glue man in the game as he was in during the regular season and in games in the series.

Away from his nine points, five rebounds and three assists in 27 minutes; Aminu gave his all in the game as he helped Blazers contain Russell Westbrook and his teammates.

Aminu and his teammates will now play the winners of the Denver Nuggets vs San Antonio Spurs series..Nuggets lead the series (3-2) at the moment.

This marks the first advancement by Portland to the conference semifinal round since 2016 and the 12th time in franchise history
