Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye joins Sparta Rotterdam
Super goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has joined Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam on a two-year deal from Fortuna Düsseldorf.
The German born goalie who made his debut for Nigeria in November 2019 in a match against Brazil joined the Dutch club to further improve on himself.
Sparta Rotterdam in a statement confirmed that they have strengthened their squad ahead of the new season with the addition of their Nigerian import.
The club through their manager Henk van Stee confirmed that the club beat off competitions from top clubs to sign Maduka Okoye.
‘With Maduka we bring in a great talent who has a lot of potential.’
Maduka Okoye will link up with his new teammates once the new season states as he continues to develop himself into a top goalkeeper.
