Nigeria set to lose Arsenal star Bukayo Saka after England call up

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are on the verge of losing out to The Three Lions of England in the chase for Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.

Bukayo Saka, 19, born in England has represented the English under age teams but still eligible to play for Nigeria national team by virtue of his heritage.

The Arsenal star was said to be torn between the choice of representing Nigeria or England but with the call up that he received today and his response, looks he is off to The Three Lions.

He was included in the squad that will be involved in the Nations League triple header against Wales, Belgium and Denmark.

A glad Bukayo Saka showed his excitement at the call up saying he was honoured to be getting his first International call up.

This is a huge loss to Nigeria who have been trying to snap the youngster away from England.

But all hopes not lost, if he fails to get a minute he could still play for Nigeria also, with the provision in the new FIFA rule for International players, he could still represent the Eagles.
