Balogun, Aribo helps Gerrard’s Rangers keep unbeaten run

10th clean sheets in 12 games in all competitions

The Super Eagles duo Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo were in action as Rangers maintained their unbeaten run with an Europa League win on Thursday.

Leon Balogun who didn’t play any part in Rangers 2-0 win against Celtics in last weekend Old Firm derby started this one.

The 32-year-old defender was on the pitch from the start to the end as Rangers secured a 2-0 away win against Standard Liege at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne.

Leon Balogun made 9 clearances, won 5 aerial duels, and won three grand duels,

Joe Aribo was subbed on in the 67th minute for George Hagi son Ianis Hagi and he was on the pitch for 27 minute as Steven Gerrard’s Rangers maintained their unbeaten run.

This season in all competitions Rangers are yet to lose a game as they continue their dominant display in Scotland and in Europe.

Rangers have kept 9 clean-sheets in their 11 league games and 10 clean sheets in 12 games in all competitions this season.
