REPORT: Musa offered to five Premier League clubs
Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has reportedly been offered to a host of Premier League clubs.
Musa, who agreed to terminate his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr last month, is said to be eyeing a return to English top-flight football.
According to reports from TEAMtalk, Crystal Palace, Newcastle, West Ham, Burnley and Sheffield United are on the radar of the 28-year-old as the player’s representative have been in talks with the clubs – but it remains to be seen if any proposal have been tabled.
A sum of £16 million, believed to be a club-record signing then, was paid by the Leicester City to acquire the service of the Nigerian international in 2016, but he failed to impress live up to expectations at the King Power Stadium.
He was only able to manage five goals in 33 appearances before he rejoined CSKA Moscow on loan and left for Saudi in the summer of 2018.
Galatasaray, Red Star Belgrade and a couple of unnamed clubs from Spain, Italy and Russia are said to be keeping close tabs on the winger.
