NPFL returns with North Central derby on Matchday 15

Resurgent Warriors face Kano Pillars

Matchday 15 of the 2020/21 NPFL season is set to take place on Sunday March 14th with 8 games taking place and two others postponed due to different reasons.

Abia Warriors welcome second-place Kano Pillars to the Okigwe Township Stadium as both sides look to pick up the win after playing out draws in their last game. The Umuahia Landlords will be looking to climb up from their 12th position on the log with a win, and Kano Pillars will be looking to go top.

Dakkada FC host Katsina United at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo looking for a response to their defeat at the hands of bottom of the table Adamawa United. Katsina United find themselves in relegation waters and a good result here will take them out of the bottom four.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah play host to Rivers United in Nnewi. The Anambra Warriors are currently in the bottom four of the NPFL and will be looking for a win over Rivers United who seemed to have gotten back their mojo in their last game.

Kwara United welcome Heartland to the Kwara State Sports complex looking to end a wretched run of form against the Naze Millionaires that has seen them win none f their past five meetings. A win for the Afonja Warriors will further extend their lead at the top of the NPFL.

Lobi Stars host Plateau United in the North Central derby at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi with both sides looking to pick up good results and climb up on the NPFL log.

Rangers International welcome a resurgent Adamawa United to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu. The Flying Antelopes, who are placed third must be wary of their visitors, who have picked up 7 points from their past 3 matches.

Struggling Sunshine Stars host Nasarawa United at the Ondo State Sports complex desperately looking for an end to their wretched 7 game winless run that has seen them drop to just outside the relegation zone.

Wikki Tourists welcome relegation-threatened Warri Wolves to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi as they look to pile more misery on the Seasiders.

The Jigawa Golden Stars-Akwa United game has been postponed after the Akwa United contingent were involved in an automobile crash on their way to the game. The match between MFM and Enyimba has also been postponed due to the People’s Elephant’s continental commitment.
