Incredible Osimhen praised and compared with Ronaldo in Italy
Victor Osimhen has been praised in Italy after his superb start to the new season with Napoli.
The Super Eagles striker who has two goals from two games with Napoli in the Serie A has been called incredible by former Napoli striker Bruno Giordano.
Bruno Giordano, 66, was a Napoli striker the last time they won the scudetto in 1987.
The Italian striker along with Diego Maradona helped Napoli to a domestic double of scudetto and Coppa Italia in 1987.
Speaking during an interview with II Martino, Bruno Giordano said Victor Osimhen is a constant threat to opponents’ defense
The former Lazio striker even went further to say Victor Osimhen is a better header of the ball than Cristiano Ronaldo.
“We are talking about an incredible player and we are not discovering him now,” Giordano told II Martino.
“He opens gaps for his teammates, walks the defenses, and then scores. He does not give up and is always the protagonist: he plays every ball as if it were the one of life.
“The header. In this way, he is even stronger than Cristiano Ronaldo.”
