Ndidi , Iheanacho suffer another heavy loss in the EPL as Tottenham Hotspur bash Leicester City 6-2

Super Eagles stars Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Ihenacho fell to yet another heavy defeat in the English Premier League with a 6-2 bashing by Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening .

Leicester City drew first blood through Tilemans who converted from the spot after two attempts to ignite hopes of a first win of the season for the Foxes.

Harry Kane headed Tottenham Hotspur level few minutes later  before Eric Dier put Antonio Conte’s men in front 2-1 . So it stood until the half time break .

Bentacur stole the ball from Wilfred Ndidi to pounce forward and score to extend Tottenham Hotspur’s lead in the 48th minute .

Leicester City thought they had found a response when James Madison curled a shot past Hugo Lloris for 3-2 .

Last seasons joint top scorer , Son Hueng-Min began the game from a strange position on the bench following a drab start to the campaign .

After coming on as a substitute , Son Hueng-Min scored three beautiful goals to ensure Leicester City were not only confined to the bottom of the EPL table but in the history book for the wrong reason.

The Foxes have conceded 22 times already this season , the most by any team in the history of the English Premier League at this stage of the season .

Ndidi started the game for Brendan Rodgers side while Kelechi Iheanacho came off the bench in the 74th minute with the Foxes 4-2 behind .

Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho will have their sights off the heat at the King Power with the International break this week after which they return to face Nottingham Forest .

The duo are part of the Super Eagles team released by manager Jose Paseiro for the International Friendly game vs Algeria on Friday September 23, 2022 .
