Super Eagles Defender Balogun Returns To QPR Training
Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun has resumed training with his English Championship club, Queens Park Rangers.
Balogun has been out of action for several weeks due to a heel injury.
The 34-year-old missed QPR’s last five league matches.
QPR manager Neil Critchley confirmed Balogun is now back in full training.
“We will have to see if Stefan and Leon will be available. Stefan is slightly further along than Leon but both are back out training on the grass which is good news for everybody,”QPR Boss, Neil Critchley told the club’s official website.
“Hopefully now, we will have no more injury issues, we can rest and recover and be ready for a really tough match. Stefan and Leon will be back soon as both are making progress.”
Balogun joined QPR in the summer, he has made 12 appearances in the Championship this season.
He was part of the Super Eagles squad that won the bronze medal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
