Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds reacts as his club Wrexham causes FA upset
Deadpool star, Ryan Reynolds, could not hide his excitement as his club, Wrexham win 4-3 at Coventry City in a FA Cup Round three game.
The National League side who is owned by the Hollywood star, caused a great upset when they defeated a Championship team away from home in a 7-goal thriller.
It is the FA Cup and this kind of upset is expected and that is what makes the oldest competition in the world very special.
The outcome of the game between the 5th division team, Wrexham, and the second division team, Coventry, has got everyone talking and Ryan Reynolds has also had his say.
“I’m completely and totally speechless,” said Reynolds who is the owner of Wrexham,
“What a club. What a town. What a win. @Wrexham_AFC forever.”
Since Ryan Reynolds bought Wrexham, it has been moving up in leaps and bound.
Wrexham currently sit second in the National League, they are on the pace to gain promotion into EFL League Two.
In four years, if they keep improving and gaining promotion, they would be in the Premier League.
