Chukwueze matches Messi’s 6-year record against Madrid at Bernabéu

Samuel Chukuweze was the biggest star in La Liga on matchday 28 after his incredible performance which has not been seen against Real Madrid since Lionel Messi in 2017.

The Nigerian winger scored two remarkable goals including a goal-of-the-season contender with his second and winning goal.

Samuel scored his first goal showing off his dribbling, and composure to hand Villarreal a 1-1 draw going into the halftime break.

He then completed his brace with a powerful curler to hand Villarreal a shocking 3-2 win at Bernabeu on Saturday.

Apart from scoring a brace against the reigning La Liga, and UEFA Champions League champions, he also completed 7-out-of-8 attempted dribbles.

Only Lionel Messi on April 11th, 2017 had such a number against Real Madrid in a La Liga game at the Santiago Bernabeu.
