Uyo based NLO club gets Ex-NPFL stars studded coaching crew
A remodeled Sir Monty FC of Uyo team will play in the 2023 NLO season with a coaching crew manned by EX-NPFL stars, Godwin Emah, Ini Akpan, Iniobong Jackson and Victor Raymond.
Founded in 2022, Sir Monty Football Club has entered into corporate understanding with Immortality Fc. This has resulted in multiple changes which includes the appointment of a new coaching crew.
As announced by Chief Executive Officer of Immortality, Prophet Ubong Okon, Former Dolphins skipper Godwin Emah will serve as Head Coach and has Ex-Akwa United FC captain Ini Akpan as first assistant while former Akwa United forward iniobong Jackson is the second assistant, the crew is completed by former Promise Keepers and Startlets striker Victor Raymond.
As gathered by SPORTSRATION, The 2023 Nigeria Nationwide League season will kick-off in the opening week of May 2023 with Sir Monty FC and six others drawn to play at the Eket Stadium in Akwa Ibom State.
Sir Monty FC will begin the campaign vs Leopard FC of Cross River State on May 3 with kick-off by 12pm.
Other teams in Group D1 are Nordic Football Academy (Akwa Ibom), FC ONA Pal (Akwa Ibom), Vandrezzer FC Academy (Akwa Ibom), Essien Ayi FC (Cross River State), Leopard FC (Cross River State) and Hope of Glory FC (Cross River State).
