Nigerian League Champions Enyimba FC to be hosted on Thursday June 29
For winning the 2022/2023 Nigeria Premier Football League title, Enyimba FC will be hosted on Thursday June 29 by the Abia State Government.
This is according to Information from the Abia State Government that His Excellency Governor Alex Otti will on behalf of host the State Government funded Enyimba FC to a lavish reception.
The event on Thursday June 29 will take place at the Banquet hall of the Abia State Government House and will be the new Governor’s first contact with the People’s Elephants since his swearing In on May 29.
Enyimba Football Club emerged Nigerian League Champions for a record extending 9th time at the end of the NPFL Super Six playoffs in Lagos State.
The club will play in the CAF Champions League, a competition it has won on two occasions during the days of Orji Uzor Kalu as Chief financier of the club.
Coach Finidi George will lead his players to the event as coordinated by long standing club chairman Felix Anyansi who has worked under successive governments in the South East State.
