Dennis wanted at Crystal Palace this summer
According to multiple sources, Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis is wanted at Crystal Palace this summer transfer window.
This is as demanded by Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson who is eyeing attacking reinforcement following the departure of Ivorien forward Wilfred Zaha.
Zaha was an influential player at Crystal Palace, one who was capable of playing in more than one position in attack, something that Palace will miss.
In identifying Emmanuel Dennis as a potential player to boost his attacking options, Hodgson is said to have considered that the Nottingham Forest man is fast, skilful and able to play in multiple attacking positions.
This could count as goodnews for Dennis who is not getting game time at Nottingham Forest, a club he joined last summer from Watford FC.
The Nigerian striker did not make too much of an impact for Forest last season, scoring just two goals in 19 Premier League appearances for Nottingham Forest who have his compatriot Taiwo Awoniyi as focal point in attack.
Palace are considering a move for the forward who was left out of Forest’s team for the 2-1 Premier League win over Sheffield United FC on August 18.
Dennis is surplus to requirements at the City Ground and so will attract a transfer fee far less than £20 million Nottingham Forest paid for his services last summer.
