Abasiofon Uwah bags 2025 Federation Cup Topscorer Award
Abasiofon Uwah of Ibom Angels Football Club, Uyo has been presented with the Highest Goal Scorer award for the 2025 Women’s Nigeria President Federation Cup campaign.
To win the award, Abasiofon Uwah scored eight goals, leading Ibom Angels FC to a semifinal spot in the 2025 Nigeria President Federation Cup women’s category.
Uwah and Ibom Angels FC were eliminated from the competition by eventual champions Rivers Angels FC in the semifinals but her goal totally was enough to hand her the top scorer award.
With her latest award, Ibom Angels FC skipper, Abasiofon Uwah further establishes her reputation as one of the hottest forwards in the country following a fruitful 2024/2025 season.
The grand-finale of the 2025 Nigeria President Federation Cup competition took place over the weekend with Rivers Angels and Kwara United FC emerging champions in the Women and Men’s categories respectively.
