Abia Warriors Coach Confident Before Second CAF Match Against Djoliba

Abia Warriors’ head coach, Imama Amapakabo, says he feels hopeful before his team’s second-leg match in the CAF Confederation Cup against Djoliba FC from Mali.

The first match ended in a 1-1 draw last Sunday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

The return match will take place this Sunday at the Stade Mamadou Konaté in Mali.

Amapakabo said he believes his team will play better in the second leg.

“I need to go back and work on a few things, but I believe we can do it. I’m very hopeful and I never give up,” he told Completesports.

This is Abia Warriors’ first time playing in the CAF Confederation Cup.
