Abia Warriors coach Emmanuel Deutcsh: These Warriors not my soldiers

Unhappy Abia Warriors Cameroonian coach, Emmanuel Deutcsh, has condemned his side’s lacklustre display against the 2015-16 Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Rangers on their matchday seven.

Reacting to his side’s goalless draw on Sunday inside a capacity filled Umuahia Township Stadium, Emmanuel was full of praise for his defenders who he said helped them secure he favourable result.

The fourth oriental derby of the season didn’t produce spark of the past, Anambra Warriors were a shadow of themselves and Emmanuel was quick to point out that the playwrs were not his recruitment.

The Cameroonian warned that his side must put their act together quickly before it is too late.

“It was not a good game for us as we could not much up front but I give kudos to my defenders who did well to contain Rangers today.

“For me, it was two points lost at home and we have to show more maturity so as to catch up with other teams.

“Don’t forget that I did not make the recruitment of the players but I believe that by the next window, we shall get it right.”

Abia Warriors will have a chance to bounce back when they tackle Go Round at Krisdera Hotel Stadium.
