AFCON 2021: ‘A disappointing night for Nigeria’ – Austin Okocha

Austin Okocha has called Nigeria’s 1-0 AFCON 2021 round of 16 loss to Tunisia a ‘disappointing night’.

The former Super Eagles captain expressed his disappointment during his punditry role at Super Sports.

Okocha pointed out that the team didn’t do enough to win the game.

“A disappointing night for us, congrats to Tunisia.

“They outsmarted us tactically, came with a good plan and executed it.

“You are as good as your next game, we didn’t do enough today to win this match.

“We had a bad day and when it rains it pours.”

Youssef Msakni 47th minutes strike earned Tunisia a 1-0 win at Stade Roumde Adjia in Cameroon.
