AFCON Qualifiers: Super Eagles to face Sao Tome and Principe in Uyo
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face Sao Tome and Principe in the last qualifying match for the 2023 AFCON at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
This is according to latest information released by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) which listed the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium as the only Nigerian venue which currently meets set standard.
The Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja has hosted the Super Eagles matches in recent years but has not been passed fit by CAF.
Super Eagles Head Coach Jose Peseiro will be happy to have his boys play at the Stadium in Uyo.
